Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for defining, integrating, validating, and testing the behaviour of Enphase's next-generation energy solutions. This role is ideal for motivated engineers with a background in electrical, electronics, software, or computer systems engineering who are passionate about renewable energy, innovation, and product development. You will gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.

Key responsibilities

Execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) to ensure comprehensive validation of system designs

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for software and hardware systems

Create Python-based automation solutions to control and integrate laboratory equipment, including grid simulators, power analysers, oscilloscopes, solar array simulators (SAS), programmable loads, and Enphase products

Investigate system failures identified during testing and perform root cause analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand product requirements and develop effective test strategies

Manage test results databases and perform test data analysis using both manual techniques and Python-based tools

Prepare and maintain test plans, procedures, and verification reports

About you

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Approximately 1+ years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent practical engineering experience

Hands-on experience working with electrical, electronic, embedded, or software systems

Working knowledge of software development concepts, including source control, release management, and version control practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment
