### **Your Day-to-Day | Ngā mahi o ia rā:**

• + Apply knowledge of legislation, case law, and Inland Revenue rulings in tax-related work.

+ Demonstrate familiarity with tax lodgement programmes and payment requirements.

+ Understand financial statements and their relevance to the tax function.

+ Use compliance procedures to identify tax planning issues effectively.

+ Continuously adapt and learn to address knowledge gaps and keep up with business and economic environments.

+ Deliver quality client service, assist with problem-solving, and identify value-added opportunities while maintaining confidentiality.

• + Are working towards a Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Law, or another relevant discipline, with a preference for those whose studies align to Chartered Accountancy or Law Professional Studies pathways (preferred but not essential).
