Supporting a culture of inclusion and wellbeing, the part-time Teaching Support Specialist will oversee four online distance learning courses related to horticulture, engaging with participants and updating course materials remotely.

##### Key responsibilities

Implement best practices for distance learning and serve as the lead educator for web-based course modules

Assist with recruitment, participant engagement, and provide daily feedback on assignments and technology questions

Hold occasional office hours via Zoom and collaborate with the supervisor to review course evaluations and update materials

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination

Background in Instructional Design in Online Course Environments (Moodle Platform)

Experience in Organic Gardening, Gardening Design, and/or School and Community Garden Management

Adult teaching or education experience (5+ years), preferably in an online environment

Content knowledge appropriate to the topics of the courses
