Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Tech Lead for Fleet Response, this full-time position will manage mission-critical full-stack systems that enable real-time collaboration for Waymo's autonomous fleet, ensuring reliability and performance of web applications.
##### Key responsibilities
Own the end-to-end reliability and performance of web applications used for real-time autonomous vehicle support
Lead the development of frontend and backend infrastructure, including robust APIs and service integration
Mentor junior engineers on web app infrastructure design and best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams
##### Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
5+ years of industry experience with web applications (frontend and backend)
Familiarity with web client architectures such as Angular and TypeScript
Experience leading technical designs and mentoring engineers on complex projects
A strong intrinsic motivation for reliability
