Technical Consultant

Overview

As a Technical Consultant in Professional Services, you will be responsible for converting customer reporting requirements into reality by configuring the iplicit solution. With strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and excellent customer-facing abilities, you will help iplicit deliver customer reporting outcomes. Your contributions will be crucial to the success of our Customer Services Team, and you will act as an ambassador for the company by delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver front-line service to customers professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate closely with the project delivery, support, and internal product teams.
• Work as part of a project team to deliver implementation services for new and existing clients, including:
• o creation and maintenance of forms, reports and enquiries
• o customising existing forms, reports, and enquiries
• o writing and refining SQL scripts.
• The work will involve both chargeable activities and in-house requirements.
• Assist in training staff and customers on forms, reports, and Excel functions.
• Contribute to the company’s knowledge base to enhance the services provided.

You will be expected to

• Maintain accurate timesheets for fee calculation and record-keeping.
• Ensure accurate resource scheduling for project and staff management.
• Work and communicate proactively and effectively with all stakeholders (customers and internal).
• Manage time efficiently to balance multiple customer projects and requests.
• Prioritise workload based on demand and urgency.
• Set realistic expectations and timelines for deliverables.
• Stay focused, organised, and goal-oriented under pressure.
• Demonstrate reliability, continuity, and stability in your work.
• Be self-reliant, confident, and decisive in your approach.
• Develop skills in SQL, C#, WPF and APIs.

• Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.

Core Competencies

• Possess good general IT knowledge, including an understanding of cloud hosting and related technologies.

• Be an advanced user of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
