We are looking for a professional and mature
Technical Training & Development Instructor
to join our team. As a member of the training team, you will be responsible for providing technical training to Aquila Air Traffic Engineers (ATE's) in support of the Ministry of Defence Project Marshall delivery.
Location: Shawbury, Shropshire | Contract: Permanent (37 hours per week)
Travel to other sites to provide training will be required.
What you'll do
- Deliver Technical Training to Aquila Air Traffic Engineers on various Surveillance Radar, Navigational Aids and Air Traffic Communication equipment.
- Develop existing training courses and create innovative and engaging technical training.
- Create supporting training documentation, following the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and JSP 822.
- Support the maintenance of the training aids.
- What we're looking for:
- Proven technical experience, ideally from within the Royal Air Force Air Traffic Engineering domain (Trade Group 3/4). Hold existing training qualifications or be willing to undertake instructor development training.
- Experience in delivering technical training with a proven record in engineering-based subjects, ideally with a bias towards Air Traffic Management Systems.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to deliver engaging remote and face to face presentations and technical training.
