Position Overview

The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and preparing automated instruments and systems for shipment. This role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
• Perform functional testing and calibration of manufacturing equipment and systems
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and diagnose technical or equipment issues
• Support assembly activities related to calibration and manufacturing processes
• Contribute to team problem-solving and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Ensure instruments meet quality, performance, and operational standards before shipment

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical, manufacturing, calibration, or test technician role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Team-oriented with good collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on technical experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Basic understanding of statistical methods, measurements, and testing techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equipment calibration, automation systems, or laboratory/manufacturing instruments
• Familiarity with liquid handling systems, centrifuges, plate readers, or similar equipment
• Experience working with technical instrumentation or automated manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
