We are seeking a dedicated Theatre Registered Nurse to join our friendly ophthalmic surgical team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality surgical care in a specialised environment where patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do.
About the role
This is a permanent, part-time position of 2–4 days per week. Shifts are generally full days, although half-day shifts may occur depending on theatre scheduling and service needs. You will have the opportunity to work across our two locations, supporting a range of ophthalmic surgical procedures and ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of patient care throughout the surgical journey.

Ideally scrub nurse and recovery room skills suited to ophthalmology

About us
Tauranga Eye Specialists is a busy, modern private facility with a specialised eye care team committed to a high standard of ophthalmic care. We hold the public Ophthalmology contract for Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, running clinics and theatre sessions daily for both private and public patients, with satellite clinics in Whakatāne and Katikati and new premises in Papamoa.
