Truck Mechanic

Remarkable People is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Truck Mechanic / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a busy waste management operation in the Thames/Kopu area!

If you're a hands-on problem solver who enjoys diagnosing faults, tackling mechanical challenges and keeping a fleet of heavy vehicles on the road, we want to hear from you!

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar.

A relevant mechanical trade qualification is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and heavy vehicle systems.

Confidence diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs independently.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.

A reliable, proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
