Join a growing centralised Administration & Finance team supporting one of New Zealand’s established multi-franchise automotive dealer groups.

As part of this journey, we’re looking for a Vehicle Administrator to join our central Administration & Finance team, based at our Hamilton dealership.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across our dealership network and multiple automotive franchises. You’ll join a diverse, dynamic and supportive team, with plenty of opportunity to build your knowledge, take ownership and make a genuine contribution to how we operate across the Winger Group.

What you’ll be doing

Vehicle administration sits behind almost every vehicle that moves through our business, which means there’s plenty of variety.

Your responsibilities will include

• Vehicle purchasing, stock administration and sales processing
• Vehicle invoicing, settlements and inter-branch transactions
• Processing and recovering manufacturer and distributor rebates, incentives and claims
• Reviewing vehicle deals and supporting accurate deal administration
• Vehicle registration and licensing administration
• Assisting with vehicle funding, floorplan and bailment administration
• Accruals, reconciliations and reporting
• Maintaining accurate vehicle and dealership system information
• Working with dealerships, distributors, finance providers and suppliers to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Supporting the continued development of consistent Group administration processes
• You’ll work closely with our Group Administration Manager, Hamilton Vehicle Administrator, Finance team and dealership teams across Winger Motors.

What we’re looking for

Automotive dealership administration experience would be a real advantage, particularly if you understand vehicle stock, sales administration, manufacturer claims or dealership systems.

More importantly, we’re looking for someone who

• Is organised, accurate and comfortable working with detail
• Is confident working with numbers, systems and Excel
• Is naturally curious and prepared to investigate when something doesn’t look right
• Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
• Is comfortable working with people across different dealerships and departments
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and is capable of working at pace
• Is approachable and enjoys being part of a collaborative team
• Looks for opportunities to learn, improve and find better ways of doing things
• Experience with Magix or another dealership management system, manufacturer rebate processes, vehicle funding or financial reconciliations would be beneficial.
