VR General Practitioner (Independent Practitioner) - Location: Griffith University, Health & Medical Service, Brisbane South (Nathan) | Full time / Part time |

Job Description

Griffith University has an exciting opportunity for a Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioner (GP) to join our vibrant and friendly Health & Medical Service located at the Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, as an Independent Practitioner under a Service Agreement.

This opportunity has become available due to the upcoming retirement plans of two of our long-standing providers, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced GP to join a well-established and highly regarded university-based health service.

Our service provides comprehensive primary healthcare to Griffith University students, staff, and the wider Griffith community, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

This role offers a welcoming and collaborative working environment and the opportunity to work within a diverse and dynamic university community.

About the opportunity

Our GPs provide a varied service to a primarily student-based demographic. In this practice you will have exposure to general practice, primary healthcare, sexual health, mental health and immunisations.

Your clinical role is well supported by experienced administration staff, clinical nurses, mental health nurses, visiting psychologists and a psychiatrist. In addition, the practice is a mixed billing practice (mostly BB), fully accredited and computerised practice.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have current and full registration with AHPRA, eligibility for Medicare provider registration and current professional indemnity insurance and ABN. Vocational Registered General Practitioner is required.
