What you'll be doing

Greeting guests warmly and seating them at appropriate tables in a timely and hospitable manner

Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings

Taking accurate food and drink orders and relaying them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring plates are delivered to the correct guests and hot items remain hot

Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

Processing payments and managing till transactions accurately and securely

Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between seatings, maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Collaborating with kitchen, bar and other team members to ensure smooth service flow

Adhering to health, safety and food hygiene regulations at all times

Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour that reflects Ghanem Group's standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role, ideally in a restaurant or fine dining establishment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests in a professional and friendly manner

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Reliability and punctuality

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

Food handling certificate or equivalent food safety qualification is advantageous
