Warehouse Assistant

Alpine Export NZ Ltd manufacturers and exports Premium Pet Food worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team based in Longburn, Palmerston North.

About the role

This role assists the Warehouse Manager and carries the responsibility of managing all inwards and outwards goods, completing relevant quality control checks, inventory control and maintaining FIFO, conducting stock takes, devanning and loading containers ensuring MPI requirements are consistently met including the completion of MPI E-certs. You will be part of a team of 4 people.

Role requirements

• Current forklift licence with proven experience.
• Knowledge of MPI requirements including the raising and review of E-certs would be an advantage but training can be provided.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and shipping/receiving processes.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Follow written policies and procedures.
• Good working knowledge of computer systems including excel.
