The opportunity:

We are seeking Warehouse Team Leaders to join our Visy Global Logistics teams based at our site in Penrose, Auckland. This is a newly created permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday on our night shift 8:30pm–5:30am. Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant supervision of all warehousing activities. Further to this your duties will include;

Daily hands-on supervision and management of Forklift Operators and Stores people.

Responsible for the fleet allocation and execution of customer deliveries, production transfers, packaging shuttles.

Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures and promote a safe and positive work environment.

Operating double fork forklifts, counterbalance and high reach machinery.

What you’ll bring to the team:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in local transport and warehouse operations.

Proven experience in people management skills gained from a supervisory or team leader role (warehouse/logistics preferred).

Strong communicate skills both written and verbally.

Ability to manage workflow, priorities, and productivity during shift operations

Basic computer skills are essential while experience with SAP and warehousing management systems is desirable.

Experience in operating a Forklift, Counterbalance and High reach trucks and hold a valid relevant licence/certificates.
