Warehouse Worker - Remote Lodge Timmins, ON

JOB DESCRIPTION ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services in partnership with Moose Cree group of companies are hiring for Culinary inventory/Support Worker for a remote lodge near Timmins, ON. The Culinary inventory/Support Worker is responsible for supporting the culinary teams with inventory and data management. The responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

• Transportation is provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, ON

• Travel allowance is available for some areas that are further away

• Rotation are 14 days on/ 14 days off

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damage to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise

• Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse

• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures

• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a team and oversees the completion of tasks

• Operates equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

• Performs physical inventory as needed

• Ensures security of company assets

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires previous warehouse experience

• Experience in a supervisor or related role preferred

• Requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Requires the ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

• Requires basic math and counting skills

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
