Welder

We're on the hunt for an experiencedWelder to join a busy structural steel workshop delivering large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

This role suits someone who enjoys production welding, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Production MIG welding of structural steel components
• Welding beams, columns, brackets, cleats, and heavy steel assemblies
• Working from shop drawings and fabrication plans
• Ensuring welds meet quality and industry standards
• Assisting with fabrication and fit-up when required
• Following workshop health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience welding structural steel
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Experience working with heavy steel sections
• Good understanding of welding symbols and tolerances
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
• Able to work well within a production team
• Current welding tickets are advantageous but not essential
