About the role

We are seeking skilled and experienced Yardman to join our team at Rightmove Recruitment. The role is based in Christchurch North.  You will already have your F and OSH and over 2 years' experience driving forklifts.

The role offered is primarily a yardman. Unloading and loading trucks and serving customers.

Starting rate of pay $27.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

Picking and packing orders accurately and thoroughly

Keeping the team on the ground stocked with product for continually smooth workflow.

Loading and unloading of trucks with various sized loads and awkward shaped materials

Inwards goods, stock rotation, receipting in products

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficiency and safety

Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Previous experience as Yardman operating various sized Forklifts

Experience in loading and unloading awkward shapes and sizes of materials

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Clean Crim record and Ability to pass a drug test.

Car and licence are essential for these roles.
