### £18 – £23 per hour (DOE)

### Monday – Friday (Some weekend working required)

We have a vacancy for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business in Doncaster site. This is a site-based, stationary role where the engineer remains on one site, working on a fleet of mobile plant equipment. This position is specifically for a heavy mobile plant fitter and is not suitable for car mechanics. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on heavy plant machinery and be confident diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of equipment.

### As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for:

Service, maintain, and repair mobile plant equipment, including

Loading shovels

360 grabs

Forklift trucks (FLT)

Telehandlers

Other heavy mobile plant

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and engine-related faults

Use diagnostic software to identify and troubleshoot issues

Repair hydraulic systems, including rams and hoses

Carry out axle repairs and general mechanical work

Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required

Complete planned servicing and preventative maintenance

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards

### The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a mobile plant fitter (heavy plant experience essential)

Strong diagnostic capability using relevant diagnostic software

Experience working on a wide range of mobile plant machinery

### Competent in

Engine fault diagnosis and repair

Hydraulic systems and leak repairs

Ram and axle repairs

Welding

Routine servicing and maintenance

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

This role is not suitable for car or light vehicle mechanics
