#### As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:

Respond to customer enquiries and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements

Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive quotations for modular electrical installations and prefabricated systems

Produce take-offs and pricing for containment, wiring systems, switchgear, lighting, power distribution, and associated electrical works

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturing teams to secure best-value pricing and lead times

Develop and present comprehensive tender submissions and commercial proposals to clients

Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance standards

Support the coordination and commercial management of projects from tender stage through to completion

Assist with procurement activities and contribute to overall project delivery

Maintain organised records of estimates, quotations, supplier pricing, and project documentation

Collaborate with operational and design teams to ensure estimates align with installation methods and manufacturing processes

#### The ideal candidate:

Proven experience in electrical, M&E, or modular estimating, ideally within commercial, industrial, modular build, or off-site construction sectors

Strong understanding of estimating processes, cost control, and electrical installation methods

Ability to interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and coordinated design information

Knowledge of modular construction or prefabricated electrical systems would be advantageous

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines

Strong communication and negotiation skills when liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Proactive and motivated individual with a willingness to learn and develop within a growing business

Computer literate and confident using estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and digital project tools

Understanding of current electrical regulations and industry standards is desirable
