We are currently looking to fill a part‑time, permanent position for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Accounting Department at our Leamington office.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible to freight payables.
• Filing, scanning, and copying.
• Assisting with A/R and A/P activities as required.
• Assisting with month end and other finance duties.
• Collecting and verifying invoices.
• Ensuring compliance with external auditors.
• Preparing cheques for issuing.
• Ensuring data is up‑to‑date collecting mail and running errands for accounting, as needed.
• Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

What You Bring

• 1‑2 years general accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Financial/Accounting software considered an asset.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Time management skills are required to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, organize work and problem solve.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all Company related matters.
• Good team player with the ability to effectively communicate written and verbally.
• A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required.

What To Expect

• Working with minimal supervision for most of the day.
• High degree of confidentiality regarding company related matters.
• 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Spends most of their day in an office setting.
• Walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day.
