Accounts Payable - Mt Eden

organised and moving? Corys Electrical is looking for an Accounts Payable team

member to join our Finance team and play a key role in keeping our supplier

accounts and reconciliations running smoothly.

• *What
• you’ll be doing*

Reporting to

the Company Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a range of Accounts Payable

activities, including:

• Processing
• supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconciling
• supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Completing
• month-end general ledger reconciliations.
• Responding
• to and resolving supplier and branch queries.
• Working
• closely with suppliers and branches to investigate and resolve issues.
• Managing
• suppliers in credit balances.
• Following
• up on Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI), particularly items over 90 days.
• Maintaining
• strong, professional relationships with our suppliers and internal
• stakeholders.
• Providing
• internal reporting and analysis as required.
• Supporting
• the wider Finance and Management teams with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
• Working
• in line with Corys Electrical policies, procedures and compliance
• requirements.

• looking for*

You’ll be an

experienced Accounts Payable professional who is comfortable working in a busy

environment and managing competing priorities. You’ll bring:

Solid

accounting knowledge and 3+ years’ reconciliation experience.

Previous

experience working in a fast-paced Accounts Payable role.

Excellent

attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong

organisational and time-management skills.

The

ability to investigate issues, identify discrepancies and find practical

solutions.

A

proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of tasks.

Strong

communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with

suppliers and colleagues.

Intermediate

Microsoft Office skills.

Experience

with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) & Continia essential.
