Accounts Payable Officer

About the role
This full-time fixed term - one year, Hamilton-based position involves managing the accounts payable and credit control functions for Pragma Designer Homes Limited and subsidiaries of the Pragma Property Group. This position is to cover parental leave. Working closely with our Senior Financial Accountant, you'll support the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day financial operations.
Key responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and credit control functions across multiple entities.
Process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.
Follow up outstanding accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare any ad hoc reports required for cash flow forecasting.
Support the Accounts Team Lead and wider Finance team as required.
About you
Previous accounts payable or similar finance experience.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
