Security Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a capable and hands-on Security Team Leader to support the day-to-day security of Pragma Group sites, people and assets. This is a practical role combining security operations, team coordination, security systems, incident response and risk management. You'll work across a range of Pragma sites, including existing properties, new sites and sites under construction. You'll also provide day-to-day guidance and support to our security team and help ensure security procedures are followed consistently.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support day-to-day security operations across Pragma Group sites.

Coordinate security rosters and contractors as required.

Patrol sites and identify security threats, hazards, suspicious activity and unauthorised access.

Respond to security incidents and liaise with Police or emergency services where required.

Monitor and manage CCTV, access control, vehicle access systems and office gates.

Review CCTV footage and assist with incidents and investigations.

Identify and report security, operational and Health and Safety risks.

Conduct site security risk assessments and recommend practical security solutions to management.

Support security requirements across new, existing and under-construction sites.

Provide guidance and support to security staff.

About you

At least 3 years' experience in security, site security or a similar operational security role.

Previous experience leading, supervising or supporting a security team.

Experience with CCTV, access control and incident response.

Strong judgement, communication and problem-solving skills.

Confident working independently and taking ownership of security matters.

A current New Zealand Certificate of Approval (COA).
