Blackberry is looking to add a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic person to supervise the successful operation of Activities/Adventure, Retail and Front of House Concierge teams. This position plays a vital role in impacting the guest experience while providing world-class hospitality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure Every Guest Every Time has their expectations exceeded
- Set standards and lead the Adventure Concierge Team by example
- Ensure the guest is always the number one priority for our teams by demonstrating a “yes” attitude
- Maintain a keen understanding of Resort Suites, Opera, and Lightspeed
- All Adventure Concierge duties, including answering phones and assisting guests with requests
- Monitor the operations for the Retail shop, sales and inventory
- Supervising the transportation system for guest transportation to/from all activities both on and off property
- Must stay alert to weather conditions
- Resolve activity questions and concerns
- Oversee the training plans of all new Adventure Concierge employees to ensure that they have proper position and property knowledge
- Develop the knowledge of current Adventure Concierge team members through cross-training
- Cover any shift needed
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a positive motivator to the team
- Ensure efficiency by coordinating Adventure Concierge and Valley schedules based on guest occupancy and business needs
- Verify employees’ work hours through the payroll system
- Assist with monthly inventory for the Retail shop
- Oversee completion of all Adventure Concierge tasks
- Monitor and maintain labor budgets for Adventure Concierge, BMTN Retail, and Valley
- Assist with writing and giving mid-year and end of year reviews as needed
- Schedule cross training for all departments during non-peak periods
- Provide content/edits for adventure programs to Marketing and Training
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma
- 2–3-year Hospitality or Customer Service experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math and general accounting
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
- Must be able to simultaneously manage diverse tasks
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
- Must be able to climb stairs and steep inclines
- Must be able to walk unpaved or uneven surfaces
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
