Customer Service – Graduation

What will you be doing?

As administrator, you will follow established processes to provide high quality support to students and academics across the University. Please see the job description / role profile form for further details of the activities you will undertake.

Our team

As part of the Graduation team, the focus of your role will be delivering a high-quality service to support students during the final part of their student journey at the University of Nottingham, from being invited to graduation through to conferring their degree and getting their certificate.

You will provide cover across a range of services, which will include you support students on our CRM system, on the telephone and in person, depending on what the student needs.

As a member of our Customer Service team, you will be motivated to deliver high standards of service.

  • Likes solving problems and finding solutions
  • Is confident finding information from a variety of sources, such as the university’s website
  • Will quickly become an expert on key services, seeking out and sharing best practice
  • Can communicate confidently
  • Is proactive and has the ability to think on their feet

This role will support with student enquiries and administrative activities relating to graduation and student voice activity. The candidate will be expected to be on campus full time during peak times for example in the lead up to and during Graduation to support the in-person student experience.

Work patterns may fall between 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. Our vacancies are permanent, full- time posts (36.25 hours); however, applications from candidates wishing to work less than full time (to a minimum of 29 hours per week) will be considered.
