Bartender

For bartenders who want to work at the top of their game.

Join the team at Ayrburn - where exceptional food, genuine hospitality and great people come together.

Ayrburn is a winery and multi-venue hospitality precinct in Arrowtown, home to some of the region's top restaurants and bars, including Michelin-recognised venues Billy's and The Woolshed. We run an ambitious drinks programme, and we want professional bartenders who love their craft.

What you'll work with

•    A serious cocktail programme, from sharp classics to in-house signatures.

•    Whisky flights and a stacked whisky bar, from Japanese to Scotch and rare pours.

•    Premium Spirits from across New Zealand and the World

•    Estate wines and an extensive international wine list.

•    Elevated, polished and knowledgeable service.

•    Involvement in NZs most exciting hospitality project

•    The opportunity to work alongside a passionate and experienced bar team

•    A beautiful, unique environment and a range of venues to develop your skills

•    Work alongside industry leaders at World-class events like the Ayrburn Classic car show.

The deal

•    Be a team player that holds high standards and has fun doing it.

•    Work in a fast-paced environment, with busy lunches/dinner services, weddings, and corporate events

•    Work in multiple venues, each with its own personality & style.

•    Weekends, evenings and public holidays are non-negotiable.

•    No late-late trading, so you get the energy without the 4am finish.

You'll need: a professional approach, real curiosity about spirits and wine, and the right to work in NZ.

You'll get: Competitive pay and great tips, ongoing cocktail, whisky and wine education, a clear path to senior and leadership roles, and staff meals, discounts, incentives, rewards and commissions.

Experience preferred but full training and support given to people wanting to learn and grow.
