Carpenters, Formworkers & Steel Fixers

THE BARRACKS IS HIRING - MULTIPLE CARPENTRY ROLES AVAILABLE

We’ve got work moving across Auckland, Queenstown and offshore, and we’re looking for good people who know their way around a construction site.

Current opportunities

ALL-ROUND CARPENTERS - AUCKLAND

Good solid carpenters wanted across a range of Auckland projects. If you can turn up, get stuck in and produce good work, we want to hear from you.

FORMWORK CARPENTERS & STEEL FIXERS

Steel fixers and formworkers required for an upcoming project starting in November.

Ideal candidates will hold a New Zealand passport or New Zealand Permanent Residency and be available to travel.

This is a proper opportunity for experienced operators looking to get offshore, earn well and get stuck into a solid block of work.

2 x BUILDING APPRENTICES - AUCKLAND

We’re looking for two people who genuinely want to start a career in construction and complete their building apprenticeship within our wider group.

This isn’t just filling a labouring role - we’re looking for people who want to learn the trade, work hard and build a long-term career.

CARPENTERS - QUEENSTOWN

Looking for experienced carpenters who are keen to relocate to Queenstown for long-term work.

Plenty of all-round carpentry ahead, so we want capable people who are serious about making the move and getting established down south.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Reliable and able to turn up every day

Good attitude and work ethic

Construction experience relevant to the role

Able to work safely and as part of a crew

People who take some pride in their work

Own transport and tools where applicable

Eligible to work in New Zealand

We’re not looking to stack numbers for the sake of it. We want good people we can keep working, look after properly and build long-term relationships with.

If one of these sounds like you, get in touch with The Barracks and tell us:
