Chef de Partie

We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team.

This position requires the following:

Preparing, cooking and delivering high-quality meals for Church Pub and Paddy McNaughton's.

Guaranteeing an exceptionally high standard of culinary services offered to our guests.

Help lesser experienced kitchen staff during service. When appropriate or asked, help to train those staff on new cooking techniques and our in-house recipes.

Duly applying cooking instructions from the Head Chef.

Prepare the company’s food offerings in alignment with the company branding, message, positioning, market and vision.

Complying with food hygiene, safety and quality within Inkster Company venues.

Coordinating with Front of House Staff to ensure that the service runs smoothly at all times to both venues, including altering dishes at guests requests to suit various dietary requirements.

Manage kitchen stock, supplies and ordering within budget and ordering policies as directed.

Ensuring that equipment and appliances are used correctly and kept in good order.

Assisting with menu development and planning, in line with Gross Profit/Cost of Good targets

Completing daily ordering with various suppliers when required.

Ensuring a high level of cleanliness is kept at all times

1. 2+ years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.

2. Strong leadership and communication skills

3. A deep love for food and high standards for excellence

4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen with seasonal menu

Permanent, full-time – minimum 40 hours per week, paid weekly. We are a 7-day, late-night operation, so the role includes a rotating roster and weekend work.
