About the role

Juno is a neighborhood cafe in Ponsonby that cooks a simple, honest and changing menu built around seasonal produce. As an experienced Chef, you'll run the kitchen day to day and help shape the food offering as it evolves week to week. Reporting to the Owner and Head Chef, you'll participate in food prep and execution and help maintain the standards, systems and cleanliness that keep the kitchen running smoothly. You'll take ownership of par levels, ordering and wastage control.

About you

Excellent cooking skills and highly organised

Experience with food ordering, par levels and wastage control

A genuine love of food, coffee and wine

Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

Excellent communication and time management skills

A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, as the menu and offering keep evolving
