Civil Foreman - Christchurch

We are seeking an experienced Civil foreman with experience in commercial sub-divisions to join our Christchurch team. This role is responsible for overseeing site operations, liaising with clients, local authorities, suppliers and subcontractors on site and ensuring program deadlines are meet and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all tasks are adequately resourced and monitor workloads to ensure maximum utilisation of crews, plant and resources

Liaise with clients and subcontractors

Monitor the projects progress and update key stakeholders

Engage and motivate the workforce to keep the project schedule

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Maintain a safe working environment for workers on site

Requirements

Previous experience as a Civil Foreman managing commercial sub-divisions

Strong understanding of earthworks, site preparation, and heavy machinery operations

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering

Valid driver’s licence
