CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER (CNM) – FULL TIME

St Anne’s Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and motivated Adon/ Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join our dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and who has the leadership skills and experience to support our nursing and care team.

The Position

Full-time position – 36+ hours per week

Clinical Nurse Manager role within our nursing home

Providing leadership and support to nursing and care staff

Supporting the Person in Charge with the day-to-day management of the nursing home

Promoting high standards of resident care, dignity and wellbeing

Supporting compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements

Staff supervision, mentoring and performance support

Supporting care planning, clinical governance, audits and quality improvement

Liaising with residents, families, GPs and multidisciplinary team members

Essential Requirements

Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration

QQI Level 6 qualification in Management – essential

Previous nursing home experience- essential

Strong communication and leadership skills

Excellent organisational and clinical skills

Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

3 years' experience in a nursing management/leadership role – preferable

Experience working within a nursing home environment

Knowledge and understanding of HIQA requirements and residential care regulations

Experience in clinical audits, care planning and quality improvement
