St Joseph's Nursing Home is now recruiting for a Registered Nurse for a full-time position.

St Joseph’s Nursing Home is a well-established, person-centred nursing home committed to providing high-quality care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment. We are interested in receiving applications from Nurses who hold Stamp 1G /Stamp 4/ EU Passport Holders only.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to elderly residents. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident are met with dignity and respect.

Core Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor and assess residents’ health and well-being

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Eligibility Criteria

Registered Nurse with NMBI registration (Active PIN)

Be fluent in English (verbal and written) and be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills, self-confidence and organisational ability

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

A genuine passion for elderly care

Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting is desirable but not essential

Be eligible to work in Ireland
