We’re looking for an experienced New Zealand Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team as a Registered Nurse Consultant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the role - This isn’t your traditional nursing role.
As our Registered Nurse Consultant, you’ll support clients with complex health and disability needs to live safely and independently in their own homes and communities.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and build genuine relationships with your clients and their whānau, while still having the support of the wider Life Plus team around you.
You’ll be responsible for
Assessing clients and developing individualised, person-centred care plans
Coordinating care with clients, whānau and multidisciplinary teams
Monitoring client progress and completing regular clinical reviews
Providing clinical guidance, training and competency support to our care teams
Liaising with GPs, specialists, ACC, NASC and allied health professionals
Providing clinical advice and support when more complex situations arise
Building strong relationships with clients, whānau, referrers and the wider Life Plus team
About you
You’ll be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current APC and NZ nursing experience who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making things happen.
You’ll also bring:
Strong clinical judgement and confidence
A warm, positive and approachable manner
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Good organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using technology and clinical systems
Empathy, cultural awareness and a genuine commitment to person-centred care
