*About the Role* We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one support to a young person with complex and high support needs.
You will help create a safe, positive and structured environment while supporting the client with their daily routines, participation in the community and development of independence.
Shifts will mainly involve school pick-ups and drop-offs, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking for consistent, meaningful support work.
*About You*We would love to hear from you if you:
Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification
Have experience supporting children or young people
Have NZ experience working with clients with complex or high support needs
Live in or near Paraparaumu, Wellington
Hold a full NZ driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
Are preferably confident driving a mobility van
Are calm, patient, flexible and reliable
Can establish and maintain clear and consistent boundaries
Are comfortable providing one-to-one support
Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
Bring a positive, respectful and encouraging approach to your work

*Applicant Requirements*
Preference for candidates living in Paraparaumu or nearby areas
NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
Health & Wellbeing Certificate Level 3 or above
Minimum 1 year of NZ experience supporting clients in a community-based setting
Full NZ driver’s license
Access to a reliable vehicle
