About the opportunity
New Zealand Couriers is seeking a motivated and reliable Courier Contractor (owner driver) to take on an established courier run in Whakatane. This is your chance to operate your own business with the backing of a trusted national brand.
With steady freight volumes and an existing customer base, this role offers the opportunity to build strong, consistent earnings through great service and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Collecting and delivering parcels on a designated daily run
Providing professional, friendly customer service
Managing time and workload to meet delivery targets
Scanning and tracking freight accurately

About you
Self-motivated and reliable
Strong time management and organisational skills
Good knowledge of the local area
Customer-focused with a positive attitude
Physically fit (regular lifting involved)
Requirements
Full, clean NZ driver licence
A suitable late-model van (or ability to obtain one)
Ability to pass a criminal history, police vetting and credit check
Must be domiciled in New Zealand with the appropriate working rights
