Customer Specialist | Porirua | Permanent Part-Time, 24 Hours

We’re currently recruiting for part-time Customer Specialist opportunities across both our Porirua and Paraparaumu Advice Centres. Te tūranga | The role:

We have an awesome opportunity for a Customer Specialist to join the friendly team at our Porirua Advice Centre.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week across three days. Monday and Saturday are fixed working days for this role, with some flexibility around the third working day.

As a Customer Specialist, you’ll support customers with a broad range of banking queries and requests. With ASB offering a range of innovative digital banking solutions, you’ll also play an important role in helping customers understand and feel confident using the different banking options available to them.

No two days are quite the same. You’ll be connecting with a wide range of customers, asking the right questions to understand their needs and helping them find the banking solutions that work best for them.

We’re looking for someone who

Brings a genuine passion for delivering great customer experiences

Is confident building relationships and connecting with people from all walks of life

Can learn quickly, adapt and respond positively in a busy environment

Is comfortable asking questions to understand what customers really need

Has the confidence to educate customers on digital and self-service banking options

Can commit to working Monday and Saturday each week, with flexibility to agree the third working day

Is keen to learn, develop and build their career with ASB

Previous banking experience isn’t essential. Strong customer service experience, curiosity and a willingness to learn will set you up well.
