We’re looking for a Home Ownership Manager to join our Riccarton Advice Centre in Christchurch.

As a Home Ownership Manager at ASB, you’ll take ownership of your own lending portfolio, supporting customers through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. You’ll combine your lending expertise with genuine relationship building, identifying opportunities and helping customers achieve their home ownership goals.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced home lender looking for a new challenge, or an internal candidate ready to take the next step and build their career in home lending.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) on a flexible Monday to Saturday roster

### What you’ll be doing

Owning and managing a pipeline of home lending opportunities

Building strong relationships with customers and growing your portfolio through repeat and referral business

Working closely with the wider Advice Centre team, referral partners and networks

Supporting customers at every stage, from first home buyers through to more complex lending needs

Having meaningful financial conversations that consider the customer’s broader needs and goals

Delivering strong, sustainable customer outcomes while effectively managing lending risk

### What you’ll bring | Ō pūkenga

You’ll be passionate about helping customers achieve their home ownership goals and confident having meaningful conversations about lending.

For experienced candidates, you may already be managing home lending customers in a banking, retail lending or broker environment. For internal candidates, you may be ready to build on your existing customer and lending capability and step into greater ownership of customer relationships and lending outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Strong home lending knowledge and experience, or demonstrated lending capability with the potential to step into a Home Ownership Manager role

An understanding of lending products and responsible lending requirements

Confidence building relationships and having needs-based customer conversations

Sound judgement and the ability to provide appropriate, tailored solutions

A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and growing a customer portfolio

A genuine commitment to delivering great customer outcomes

An appetite to continue developing your lending knowledge and expertise

Riccarton offers the opportunity to be part of a busy Advice Centre environment where collaboration, customer relationships and quality lending conversations are at the heart of what we do.

The Advice Centre operates Monday to Saturday, so flexibility to work across the centre's operating days will be important. Your specific working pattern will be discussed as part of the recruitment process.
