Te tūranga | The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Customer Specialist to join our friendly and supportive Rotorua Advice Centre team, working 40 hours per week on a permanent basis.

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, assisting them with a broad range of everyday banking needs and enquiries. You'll take the time to understand what matters most to each customer, build trusted relationships, and connect them with the right banking solutions to help achieve their goals.

You'll also play an important role in helping customers confidently navigate ASB's digital and self-service banking options, ensuring they have the knowledge and support to bank in a way that works best for them.

No two days are the same. You'll be supporting customers across a variety of banking enquiries while contributing to a positive team culture and delivering exceptional customer experiences every day.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week on a roster across Monday to Friday.

• Experience in customer-facing environments such as retail, hospitality, banking, reception, tourism, contact centres or similar

• Confidence communicating with customers from a wide range of backgrounds

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A willingness to learn and embrace new technology
