Data Governance Architect IV

**Who We Are**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **BI Data Architect IV** to join our Financial Data & Analytics team. This role is critical in shaping the enterprise data architecture, ensuring data consistency, and enabling high-impact reporting and analytics across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills to support cross-functional initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making.

**What You'll Do**

• Lead the development of **semantic data models**, **data definitions**, and **metric standards** to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
• Partner with business and technical teams to **analyze complex business scenarios** and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by **translating technical concepts** into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Deliver **executive-level presentations** and documentation to communicate data architecture strategies and outcomes.
• Design and maintain **data models**, **data mappings**, and **metadata documentation** to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is sourced from **systems of record** and aligned with business needs.
• Support the **migration and integration** of data across platforms, ensuring data quality and governance standards are upheld.
• Contribute to the development of **business data definitions** and support the standardization of key financial and operational terms (e.g., RH Affiliate vs. Company).
• Provide guidance on **data governance best practices**, including data privacy, security, and compliance.

**What You'll Need**

• Bachelor’s degree in data, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• **10+ years** of experience working with large, complex data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Proven experience in **data modeling**, **ETL pipeline design**, and **semantic layer development**.
• Strong understanding of **accounting and finance concepts**, including intercompany transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to **communicate technical ideas** effectively to business stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with **BI tools** such as Domo, Cognos, OBIEE, or MicroStrategy.
• Proficiency in **SQL** and working with both traditional and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong **business writing** and documentation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Familiarity with **ERP, CRM, HCM, Procure-to-Pay, Incentive Compensation**, and **financial systems**.
• Experience with Knowledge Base tools like Collibra, Data.world, Document360, Confluence etc.
• Understanding of **project management methodologies** and **international business concepts**, including currency exchange.
• Certifications in Analytics, Data Science, or related fields are a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus but not required

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$109,000.00 - $165,000.00
