About Us
JBS Australia, part of the global JBS business, is Australia’s largest and most respected lotfeeder. With a capacity of 150,000+ cattle across 6 feedlots spanning more than 10,000 hectares, we are the leaders in both grain and grass-fed beef.
The JBS Beef City Feedlot is part of the integrated Beef City facility consisting of farming, feedlot and processing operations. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress, carbon emissions and transportation costs while simultaneously improving eating quality. Ideally located in the prime grain and cattle producing region of the Darling Downs, 35km west of Toowoomba, the 26,500 head capacity feedlot has a strong reputation for producing high-quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers and employs approximately 50 team members.
