EXPERIENCED EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – DRAINAGE | AUCKLAND & NORTH SHORE 🚜

- We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Excavator Operators to join a well-established and highly reputable civil construction company working across Auckland and the North Shore.
- With projects confirmed through to 2030, this is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable contractor and become part of an experienced civil construction team.
- 🚜 About the Role
Your responsibilities will include
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently across civil construction and drainage projects.
- Supporting drainage crews with trenching, pipe laying, backfilling and general site preparation.
- Working accurately to plans, levels and site specifications.
- Operating plant and machinery as required.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring safe operating practices.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
- 👷 What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects.
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement.
- Strong drainage experience, including trenching and pipe laying.
- GPS machine control experience preferred but not essential.
- Loader operating experience.
- Good understanding of civil construction practices and site safety.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work well within a team.
- Availability for an immediate start.
