Director Threat Intelligence
Job Description
Oversees a team that hunts and discovers previously unidentified and emerging threats through malware and network analysis; provides guidance and solutions for the team as needed. Oversees a team that works on long-term adversarial research projects. Analyzes current and new exploit vectors and techniques for gaining and maintaining access. Discovers, tracks, and correlates attacker-related command and control infrastructure. Stays up-to-date on the latest security/threat analysis techniques and tools; attends applicable training, conferences, and learns new tools as needed. Highly involved in business planning; interacts with executives to develop plans, determines resource requirements (managing expense priorities), and makes decisions that will influence long-term technical and business strategies.
Works closely with upper management to execute organizational plans; relays information regarding operational hardships and successes via verbal and/or written communication, including preparing and delivering presentations.
