Driving Instructor (Own Car Required)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to educating students on safe driving practices. This role involves both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, ensuring that students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become responsible drivers.

You must have :

A valid driving instructor certification by the DMV.

Your own insured and well-maintained vehicle (dual controls preferred but not mandatory).

Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

Commitment to safety and excellence in teaching.

Duties

Educate students on traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and defensive driving strategies.

Conduct classroom sessions that cover theoretical aspects of driving, including road signs, rules of the road, and vehicle operation.

Provide hands-on driving instruction in various conditions to enhance students' practical skills.

Communicate clearly with students to assess their understanding and address any questions or concerns.

Evaluate student performance during both classroom and practical sessions, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Skills

Strong ability to educate diverse groups of students effectively.

Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in adult education or similar environments.

Proficient in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.

Ability to drive safely and teach others how to operate vehicles responsibly under various conditions.
