Manufacturing Process Engineer

This is a ground-floor opportunity with real upside. You'll be the first dedicated Process Engineer this company has ever had — meaning you'll build the function from scratch, have direct access to plant leadership, and position yourself to grow into a multi-site role overseeing 5–10 facilities.

What You'll Do

Live on the production floor (95% of your time) driving real improvements in real time

Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting scrap reduction, throughput, and changeover efficiency

Deliver $300K+ in annual cost savings and manage a CI pipeline exceeding $750K

Track and report KPIs — safety, productivity, scrap rate, throughput, changeover times

Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement and sustain improvements

Standardize best practices across teams and shifts

What You'll Bring

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)

3+ years in a manufacturing environment

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

A bias for action — you'd rather be on the floor than in a meeting
