Electrician (Industrial)

Standard Work Hours: 39 hours per week: 07:30 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday. Optional overtime on Friday with an early close of 13:00. Hours worked above 39 are paid at 1.5x.

Pay: €28.97-€30.45 per hour (€58,751 – €61,752 base before overtime, depending on overtime worked, you could earn in excess of €70,000)

Davenham Switchgear, a Legrand company, are seeking to hire a qualified Electrician to join our industry-leading Electrical teams in Clondalkin & Cherry Orchard. In this role, the successful candidate will be interpreting 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies.

Requirements:

National craft card or an equivalent technical qualification is essential

Practical expertise in electrical fault-finding techniques

Previous experience with Low voltage Switchgear, MCC, Power Factor Correction (PFC), control equipment, or PDC's is a bonus but not a necessity

Key responsibilities / Duties:

Craft top-quality switchgear units for our esteemed clients

Interpret and implement 3 phase schematic and mechanical drawings with precision

Conduct thorough testing of switchgear products, adept at identifying potential faults

Repair and modify electronic automated systems

Ensure maintenance of all company equipment

Occasionally supervise and mentor apprentices, providing on-the-job training

Provide guidance and leadership to General Operatives

Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations
