Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead safety initiatives, develop comprehensive training programs, and ensure adherence to environmental and occupational health regulations. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, promote safety awareness, and support our commitment to worker well-being and environmental responsibility.

**Responsibilities**

• Be familiar with the Quality Policy and Objectives.
• Assist or Cover trainings for personnel specific to onboarding, health and safety environmental and sustainability
• Update training records and documentation when required
• Perform safety walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and process reports to distribute to departments
• Complete paperwork and follow up on corrective actions for internal accidents
• Have general manufacturing knowledge and flow for all Mundelein facilities
• Support EHS coordinators in Mundelein
• Support in the implementation of the inititiatives for ISO 14001
• Seek out potential cost savings on environmental and sustainability initiatives
• Perform day to day tasks for ISO 14001 (meetings, projects, and trainings ect.)
• **Qualifications:**
• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or similar field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communicartion skills
• Computer skills (Word, Excel Powerpoint , Outlook)
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
