Experienced Project Manager – Concrete Polishing

About the role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are necessarily the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating projects, managing schedules, communicating with clients and trades, and ensuring both site work and administration are kept under control. You'll need to be comfortable out on-site one day, managing paperwork and planning the next, and able to adapt when priorities change.
Key responsibilities
Managing concrete polishing projects from start to finish.
Planning and coordinating job schedules, site teams, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
Conducting site visits and monitoring progress, quality and safety.
Liaising with clients, builders, suppliers and other trades.
Managing project administration, documentation, job costing, variations and reporting.
Keeping projects on schedule and identifying potential issues before they become problems.
Ensuring clear communication between the office, site teams and clients.
Taking responsibility for delivering projects efficiently and to a high standard.
About you
Previous project management experience, preferably in construction, flooring, concrete or a related industry.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A high level of reliability, accountability and attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities.
A flexible, practical approach and a willingness to get involved where needed.
Strong communication and people skills.
Confidence managing both site-based responsibilities and office administration.
Good computer skills and the ability to keep project records and paperwork up to date.
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.
