Fabricator/Welder

About the role

This role involves performing high-quality welding (MIG/TIG/Arc depending on project needs) and structural/light metal fabrication, as well as applying protective coatings, primers, and industrial paint to ensure long-term corrosion resistance. You will prep metal surfaces for finishing and maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

Perform high-quality welding (MIG/TIG/Arc depending on project needs) and structural/light metal fabrication

Prep metal surfaces for finishing (grinding, cleaning, stripping rust or scale)

Apply protective coatings, primers, and industrial paint (spray or brush/roller) to ensure long-term corrosion resistance

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

3 months contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About you

Proven experience in both metal welding/fabrication and structural painting

Welding certifications or relevant trade qualifications

Solid understanding of paint preparation, mixing, and application techniques

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tight project deadlines

Strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper ventilation and PPE usage for painting and welding
