**Job Responsibilities:**

• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs
• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
• Implement system software and customize to requirements
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
• Code new programs to specifications and create test data for testing
• Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
• Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
• Provide quality assurance reviews
• Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
• Flash Last Known Good (LKG) images and test new software builds on hardware devices
• Validate internally developed software on proprietary hardware devices

**Requirements:**

• 0 to 2 years of experience in software engineering, validation, or a related technical role
• Experience performing unit testing and troubleshooting in both new and legacy production environments
• Hands-on experience with software validation on hardware devices is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required
• Experience debugging Windows devices and familiarity with Windows usability issues
• Proven ability to perform software validation and testing, particularly on hardware devices
• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with large systems software design and development
• Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
• Experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
• Familiarity with debugger tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with proprietary hardware environments

**Additional Details:**

• Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
• Duration: 2 months
• Pay Range\*: $48 - $54.50 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
