Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Job Responsibilities:
Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs
Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
Implement system software and customize to requirements
Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
Code new programs to specifications and create test data for testing
Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
Provide quality assurance reviews
Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
Flash Last Known Good (LKG) images and test new software builds on hardware devices
Validate internally developed software on proprietary hardware devices
Requirements:
0 to 2 years of experience in software engineering, validation, or a related technical role
Experience performing unit testing and troubleshooting in both new and legacy production environments
Hands-on experience with software validation on hardware devices is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required
Experience debugging Windows devices and familiarity with Windows usability issues
Proven ability to perform software validation and testing, particularly on hardware devices
Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
Experience with large systems software design and development
Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
Experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
Familiarity with debugger tools is a plus
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with proprietary hardware environments
Additional Details:
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 2 months
Pay Range\: $48 - $54.50 per hour
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Job Status: Non-Exempt
