Foreman - Civil Construction

Our client, a well-established civil construction company, is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join their team. Based in Hamilton, you will oversee projects across the Waikato region, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

About the Role

As a Civil Foreman, you’ll take the lead in coordinating and motivating a team of skilled workers on site. You’ll play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency, while ensuring all work meets client and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction operations

Lead, train, and manage a skilled team

Operate key machinery safely and efficiently

Ensure all health and safety standards are met on site

Complete and maintain required site paperwork and reporting

Support timely and cost-effective project delivery

About You

You’re an experienced leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in a job well done. You’ll bring hands-on experience in civil construction and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ civil construction experience

Proven ability to lead and manage teams

High level of skill operating key machinery

Strong commitment to health & safety compliance

Capable of completing all necessary documentation accurately

Full Class 1 licence (Class 2–4 an advantage)

Clean criminal record and ability to pass drug & alcohol testing

Roading experience preferred
